Eligibility Requirements

Core Requirement: Honorably or generally discharged veterans who are Washington state residents. Dishonorable discharge is not eligible for most programs; contact us to discuss alternative options.

Who Qualifies

Veterans with an honorable or general (under honorable conditions) discharge
Current Washington state residents (or willing to relocate to the area)
Experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or at imminent risk of losing housing
Active duty service members within 180 days of separation (pre-discharge planning)
Spouses and dependents of eligible veterans for some programs

VA Disability Rating

While not required for all services, veterans with an honorable or general discharge who have a service-connected disability may be eligible for additional programs including the HUD-VASH voucher program. If you have applied for or received a VA disability rating, please include that information in your intake form.

Other Than Honorable Discharges

If you received an Other Than Honorable (OTH) discharge, you may still be eligible for some state and local programs. Contact us directly to discuss your situation — we will not turn anyone away without exploring all available options.
