Weekly one-on-one and group support from certified peers with lived experience.
All eight of our peer specialists are Washington-state Certified Peer Counselors (WA-CPC). Each brings personal lived experience with mental illness, substance use recovery, homelessness, or system involvement (jail, ER admits, foster care). Peers do not diagnose or prescribe — they walk alongside participants through their own recovery process.
Weekly 60-minute meetings, in person or by phone/video. Participants are matched to a peer whose lived experience aligns with theirs. Meetings can take place at our office, in a community location, over coffee, while walking — whatever supports the participant.
Peer specialists can accompany participants to court appearances, medical specialty visits, benefits interviews, or first appointments with new providers — whenever having a trusted supporter present is essential.
